Most women all know and agree that there are a few different body types. However, there are plenty of women out there who might not realise just how much of an impact their body types might have on the clothes they wear. For example, people who have apple-shaped bodies are going to want to look at flaunting their legs and necklines, drawing attention away from the midriff where weight tends to gather. This means you will want to stray away from anything figure-hugging. Since hourglass bodies are often considered the ideal body type due to their well-balanced proportions, you will more or less want to flaunt your waistline. For pear body types, you can actually give off the illusion that you have an hourglass body if you find the right clothes to enhance your top half. For rectangular body types, you will definitely want to focus on your arms and legs, staying away from dresses that are overarching. For the final body type, you will want to focus on bringing definition to your hips; if this is done right, it can even mimic an hourglass body. Make sure that you don’t draw too much attention to the top half of your body.
